The metasurface is a split ring resonator array with oblique incidence whose electric field is parallel to the plane of the metasurface, i.e., xy-plane. The induced electric fields by incident electromagnetic fields are along the x-direction, while the induced magnetic fields are along the z-direction due to the geometries of the meta-molecules.
